The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. As an Azure Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing data solutions that meet our organization's business needs. Responsibilities: Data Architecture Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data architecture designs. Design and implement data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration processes on the Azure platform. Azure Cloud Expertise: Leverage Azure data services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and others, to build robust and scalable data solutions. Stay current with Azure cloud technologies and best practices, incorporating them into the data architecture strategy. Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements. Data Integration and ETL: Develop and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or other relevant tools. Optimize data integration workflows for performance and efficiency. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a focus on Azure cloud technologies. In-depth knowledge of data modelling, database design, and data warehousing concepts. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Azure SQL Database. Expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure services. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Skills: Azure certifications related to data and databases. Experience with big data technologies, such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks. Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics in Azure.
