We are looking for a highly skilled ical System and Packaged Chip Test Engineer with expertise in ical fiber communication to lead the testing and validation of key components in our ical communication systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about ics, high-speed ical fiber communication, and who have experience in testing laser, modulators, photodetectors, performing BER and TDECQ analysis, and statistical data analysis. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design and implement test plans, methodologies, and protocols for laser diodes, ical modulators, photodetectors (PDs), and high-speed passive ical components. 2. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of ical components to assess their performance and reliability in ical communication systems. 3. Perform high-speed ical characterization and testing of lasers, modulators, PDs, and passive components to ensure adherence to industry standards. 4. Analyze and imize ical components and systems to meet performance specifications, including spectral characteristics, linearity, bandwidth, and noise characteristics. 5. Develop and implement test automation solutions using Python to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process. 6. Conduct Eye Diagram measurements to evaluate signal quality and performance. 7. Perform Bit Error Rate (BER) and TDECQ analysis to evaluate the quality of ical communication systems. 8. Utilize statistical data analysis techniques to derive insights and make data-driven decisions. 9. Generate clear and comprehensive test reports and documentation. 10. Utilize data analysis and statistical data visualization techniques to derive insights from high-speed measurement data. 11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and contribute to product development and improvement. **Qualifications:** 1. Master's degree in ical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 5 years of industry experience or PHd degree in ical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 2 years of industry experience. 2. Proven experience in ical fiber communication testing, ical module system verification, and validation. 3. Proficiency in ical test equipment, such as ical spectrum analyzers, ical power meters, and interferometers. 4. Strong knowledge of ical components and systems, including lasers, ical amplifiers, and photodetectors. 5. Familiarity with ical simulation and modeling tools. 6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 8. Experience with programming and automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
