Description: EDI Java Developers are responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code for multiple Texas Medicaid systems using EDI tools such as Oracle Weblogic, and Edifecs Xengine. Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of modules and those that interface with other applications. Has a range of technical skills including EDI development, Java, Java EE, EJB3, JPA, webservices development both XML and Restful, XML Schemas, Weblogic Application server, oracle SOA, oracle OSB, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle and MS SQL db, Unix basics, Windows scripting, TFS, subversion, Ant, Maven build tools. Combines technical skills with knowledge Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective solutions. Limited client interaction. Participates in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment. Support of healthcare HIPAA X12 transactions.
