Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of modules and those that interface with other applications. Has a range of technical skills including EDI development, Java, J2EE, EJB3, JPA, Web Services Development both XML and Restful, XML Schemas, WebLogic Application server, Oracle SOA, Oracle OSB, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server DB, Unix basics, Windows scripting, TFS, Subversion, Ant, Maven build tools. Combines technical skills with knowledge of Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective solutions. Participates in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment. Support of healthcare HIPAA X12 transactions.
