Please see the job description below for your reference Position : Remedy Developer/Admin Location: Remote Duration : 6+ Months JOB DESCRIPTION 6-10 years of experience with Remedy Helix ITSM Software Management Suite, Helix Innovation Suite iPaaS, Progressive Web Applications, True Sight Orchestration, Smart IT, Digital Workplace Advanced, Atrium CMDB and Discovery (ADDM). Also, 6 years of design, development, and integration experience with: Angular, NodeJS, Rest Web Services, JSON, PostgreSQL. Certification in ITIL 4. -Technically develop, maintain, and enhance Remedy Helix OnDemand Version 21.3 or greater, using BMC Remedy Developer Studio to customize forms, fields, overlay, workflows and related system components in accordance with project requirements. -Development of Progressive Web Applications and building workflows using iPaaS. -Demonstrated experience using IBM Watson to build Chatbot skills, Jitterbit platform to create scripts and API calls -Refinements to the BMC Discovery application and emerging trends that indicate improved efficiency and quality of the CMDB. -Support of ITSM application modules: Incident, Change, Problem, SRM, CMDB -Support Grafana to build reports and dashboards to measure service management processes. -Collaborate with other Remedy developers to determine the optimal solution architecture to ensure application efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. -Collaborate with the Remedy team to develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes. -Develop system test plans, ensure software quality assurance (SQA) standards are achieved, and validate that business goals are accomplished. -Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management. -Proactively update the team and maintain open and courteous communication. -Report project/task status to the Remedy Platform Engineer on a weekly basis. Other Responsibilities -Developer is responsible for internal application development and Level 3 Production Support and fulfill BMC Incident requests. -Follow formal code development, migration, and Change Management processes . QUALIFICATIONS -Experience in application development and/or technical business analysis. -Experience using various programming tools. -Experience mentoring the team to follow standard coding practices, assign work, and perform code review. -Demonstrated experience in software development life cycle methodologies. -Ability to coach and mentor other team members. Remedy is required. The Remedy Suite is a group of technologies that are used based upon which other Remedy applications (ie: myIT, smartit, addm, orchestration etc) and processes are developed. Remedy requires multiple levels of technologies to support these services. Notes: GOAL: help with backlog enhancements Want wide breadth of skills on remedy platform Helix They use all the modules for the most part and most of BMCs products Remedy HELIX (new system) MUST Have, if only legacy ITSM from Remedy, will not be a fit They use SaaS version so not customized, should be easy to jump in and help Innovation suite - developer tool for digital workplace Smart IT - mobile app for end users Service Catalog (some in old Remedy ITSM, and other 50% needs migrated) Reporting piece is new Postgresql (experience writing not just Translate from Postgres Someone does Enhancements in Remedy create new features or capability.
