Strong application debugging knowledge. Working knowledge of CICS infrastructure concepts and limitations. MVS JCL - Working knowledge of MVS JCL infrastructure concepts, facilities and restrictions. Solaris (UNIX) - File structures, security, scripting, communications. SFTP - Secure File Transfer Protocol functionality, commands, and utilities. 3270 Emulation - CICS screen design, coding and generation. 3270 application communication functions. CICS Web Services WSDL Web Service Description Language xml coding and communication. JAON - JavaScript Object Notation xml coding and communication. Micro Focus COBOL Ansi 74 and Ansi 85 differences. Application coding in batch, CICS and CICS webservices. Configuration and directives. MicroFocus Animator CICS (UNIX) Oracle PL/SQL Target Software: NTT DATA Operating environments: NTT DATA TPE - Installation, configuration and problem resolution. NTT DATA BPE - Installation, configuration and problem resolution. NTT Data COBOL - Installation, configuration and problem resolution. NTT DATA IDE Debugger - IDE Installation, configuration and problem resolution. NTT DATA J3270 - Installation, configuration and problem resolution. Development Languages: COBOL -Sophisticated using address pointers and conditional compiles. Calling module traceability is cumbersome. Assembler Understanding not development or execution. UNIX Scripting: Script development and modification to support utility functions and execution of BPE batch jobs. Communications: SFTP required for file transfers and GUI editing functions in a development environment. SSH required for development and production data transmission security. .net TPE webservices using WSDL and/or JSON. Putty User command interface to Solaris for development, maintenance, and problem resolution. Administrative Software: Version Control Understanding to complete the git version control implementation after going live. General Knowledge: Upsell the ability to identify effort that is not within the scope of the project and justify a change request to cover the cost of the additional effort. Communications Communicate with customer technical people who are no Solaris fluent, and English is their second language. Non-standard thinking be able to think outside the box on how to resolve an issue. Pattern recognition Able to see how one type of process relates to another of process to help the customer decide on what should be done. Project planning Ability to identify impact on the total project and quantify the impact. Reverse engineering There is no documentation on the application, User guides, current production infrastructure therefore to replicate the current implementation in the new environment requires evaluating the current environment and translating to the new environment. Lack of documentation There is no current environment documentation and therefore the documentation effort is much more and more intense than originally foreseen.
