This is new, need a strong PM for this, local, hybrid in Chicago, IL ITSM Project Manager - Security Applications Support Work Location: Must be local to Chicago - Hybrid work schedule: 3 days a week in the office Address: Client: Chicago (Loop) Potential Contract to Hire, - need USC/ or GC Rate-55-60 per hour C2C 1 year-CTH 2 rounds of interviews Job Description/Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of a tiered support operations team for information security applications. Define roles and responsibilities for team members, ensuring alignment with ITSM best practices and security requirements. Establish, document, and optimize ITSM processes for incident, problem, change, and service request management within the security applications domain. Collaborate with stakeholders to create a future state model for the support operations team, considering scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Organize and lead regular operations meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and strategize improvements for the security applications support environment. Design and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the support operations, ensuring alignment with security-related objectives. Develop a communication process to keep stakeholders informed about incidents, changes, and overall support operations status. Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the support operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as an ITSM Project Manager, preferably in a security applications support context. In-depth knowledge of ITSM frameworks, particularly as they apply to information security. Experience building and leading tiered support teams, with a focus on security applications. Strong project management skills, including the ability to define and achieve project objectives within established timelines. Familiarity with security-related metrics and KPIs to assess and enhance operational performance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or those specific to information security are highly desirable.
