Job: SRE BigData Hadoop Location: 100% Remote or NYC NY Duration: 6+ months 8+ yrs will work Virtusa / BNY Mellon Main skill We need SRE Engineer in the title with Bigdata / Hadoop experience more. No need of Sr Bigdata or Hadoop profiles, we need SRE Engineer with Hadoop / Bigdata Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of professional experience handling large-scale production systems. Excellent knowledge of large-scale web applications/distributed systems. Experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers with certification. Experience in designing of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider, migration of services to cloud and deployment of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider. Hands-on experience in code development, testing and deploying to the server. End to End exposure of SDLC. Deep knowledge of Front-End and Back-End technologies is expected. Understanding of On-Premise and Cloud-based model system design is expected. Automation experience to reduce toil is expected. Hands-on experience with Terraform and configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible or equivalent. Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and/or cloud deployment technologies. Expertise in problem-solving and analyzing global scale distributed systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
