Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects. Developers and other technical teams. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve complex performance and availability issues related to Oracle RAC environments. Utilize in-depth knowledge of Oracle database internals, clusterware, and networking to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively. Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize Oracle RAC database performance by identifying bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, optimizing database configurations, and implementing best practices. High Availability: Configure and maintain Oracle RAC databases to ensure high availability is preserved. Only needed if we have to add capacity during some failure mode. Experience with UP environment is a plus.
