Position: 100% Remote Sr. .NET Developer with ArcGIS experience Location: 100% Remote (Saint Paul, MN) Duration: 12 months Note -- Saint Paul, MN (While this is a fully remote role, candidates located in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area are preferred) Job Description Announcing a new opportunity for an IT professional to engage in a high-impact redevelopment project remotely. This involves the modernization of a significant database system's front-end user interface, transitioning from Oracle Forms/WebLogic to a contemporary .NET Core/( ASP.NET ) framework while utilizing the existing Oracle 19.c database. Role Overview: Develop and innovate using .NET Core/( ASP.NET) and Azure App Services. Actively participate in an Agile team for all phases - design, coding, testing, and deployment. Work on integration with ESRI Field Maps data and engage in cross-domain coding. Focus on UI development using the ArcGIS JavaScript API. Ensure effective deployment and integration of developed code. Essential Qualifications: Minimum five years of experience in .NET Core/( ASP.NET) development. Involvement in at least two long-duration projects (over six months) in a similar domain. One year of hands-on experience with the ArcGIS JavaScript API. Desirable Skills: Experience with Oracle database integration. Proficiency in Azure App Services and cross-domain environments. Strong UI design skills and Agile development experience. Knowledge of spatial/mapping in geodetics. Project Details: This is a remote contract role expected to last for 12 months, starting January 16, 2024. The focus is on updating technical architecture and the code base, without adding new functionalities. The architect of the legacy system will be part of the team, providing insights on Oracle 19.c and business aspects.
