Role: Project Manager Location: Albany, New York Duration: 15 Months NY State HBITS-04-12617 BF Job Description Manage OGS Priority Projects such as eProcurement Duties Coordinate activities between the ITS, OGS Shared Services, business users, and vendors and deliver key project artifacts. Provide the leadership skills necessary to control the execution of the project tasks. Monitor all project activities and ensure timely and within-budget quality products. Responsibility for the successful delivery of products. Communicate and interact with mid and senior-level staff. Follow Project Management as determined by the agency. Participate in Change Management planning and meetings. Define purpose, scope, and objects for projects. Gather, document, and monitor project requirements. Monitor progress of the project and include in status reporting. Prepare a budget for projects. Conduct meetings. Establish professional relationships. Create and maintain the following: Project Schedule/Plan to include WBS RAID Log and Tracker Project Scope Project Charter Requirements Documentation Requirements Traceability Matrix Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. Required Skills: This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months of experience managing enterprise level projects, preferably in the public sector 84 Months of experience developing project plans/schedules, work breakdown structures, risk management plans, communications plans, issue management, change management and project issue reporting 84 Months of experience working with project management tools (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Powerpoint) 84 months of experience gathering, documenting, monitoring, and reviewing requirements and managing requirements traceability matrices 60 months of experience managing stakeholders and coordinating activities across different organizations or state agencies 60 months of experience with procurement projects, preferably in the public sector 60 months experience with technical project management 60 months of demonstrated ability to conduct meetings with senior agency executives Bachelors Degree Project Management Professional Certification Please submit documentation of certifications (i.e. PMP, CSM) Looking Forward to hear from you...
