They will establish estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. The developer will communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to Kroger standards. Key Responsibilities Develop a high-quality codebase, lead design discussions, execute development against design, and navigate complex codebase Responsible for development implementation of technical design within a defined set of teams. Execute against defined technology roadmap to support project portfolio and business strategy Participate in implementing enterprise standards across domains: operations, infrastructure, data, applications, development, security & risk, and business continuance Provide technical clarity between ongoing projects and the strategic objectives of the company Drive digital innovation by leveraging innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and IT estate Implement high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state solution Lead the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes and, practices Participate in 24x7 support rotation Team Information: This position will be working in Krogers Personalization Services team with technologies that make big data available to our digital properties. The team owns and operates a suite of large, high speed, highly reliable services (billions of records, thousands of transactions per second, 20ms response times) supporting multiple core domains. As part of an agile team, you will work in close coordination with your team members along with architecture, security, core services and others to deliver and support reliable, scalable, performant solutions. As a Product Led organization, technical teams work closely with our business partners to ensure Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are aligned to deliver the highest value possible to our customers. Operating environment consists of Java based services running in Spring Cloud/AKS on multiple clouds with large data feeds and integrations. Upcoming modernization work will utilize vector database and feature store technologies technology evaluation currently in flight. Technology Specifics/Requirements: Java or Kotlin Springboot Kubernetes Cassandra Elastic Kafka Top / Must Have Skills: 1.Experience building scalable microservices with Spring Boot 2.Some experience in deploying and managing applications in the cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.) 3.Good communication skills and a willingness to work interactively with the rest of the team on both technical and business levels Minimum Position Qualifications: 5+ years of successful and applicable hands-on experience in software or infrastructure development domain and principles, including design patterns and code structure 5+ years of proven track record of designing and delivering large scale, high-quality systems 3+ years of successful and applicable experience taking a lead role in building complex software ad automation systems that has been successfully delivered to customers Strong knowledge of industry trends and industry competition Proven ability to think and contribute at the strategic level Understanding of network and security architecture Deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), cloud, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations Desired Previous Experience : Any experience in system architecture Any experience in Cloud software service including designing for scale, performance, and reliability Demonstrated capability to build, mentor and maintain an inclusive team-based environment Experience building recommender systems or utilizing machine learning -- Keywords: active directory information technology http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=940431&uid= |
