The ideal candidate for this role has the skills to do development and solution design and possesses a strong understanding of technical and functional knowledge of Oracle e-Business suite applications (G/L, A/P, F/A, iPro, Purchasing, iExpense). Technically the candidate should be able to develop on PL/SQL. Functionally the candidate should be able to synthesize user requirements, perform solution design, development, and data validation on the Oracle EBS application. Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant is expected to be knowledgeable in end-to-end process flow of Oracle EBS General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, iProcurement, Purchasing, and iExpenses Applications and provide technical/functional architectural guidance to internal teams and customers using/adopting Oracle EBS products and services. As part of your role, you'll be responsible for delivering solutions for one or more projects. This will involve helping to establish the project's scope and determining the size of the required work. You'll also be tasked with developing a technical and functional solution design that effectively meets business requirements. In addition, you'll be involved in a range of activities that encompass design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of system enhancements to meet business requirements. Required Experience / Skills: At least 10+ years of Implementation / Support experience in implementing Oracle EBS Applications including R12. Strong experience providing implementations and enhancements of Oracle EBS Applications General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, iProcurement, and iExpense. Ability to support requirements gathering with end users, conduct workshops, develop requirements, and design documents. Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience working on CEMLIs. Ability to develop test scenarios, support unit testing, and user acceptance testing. Develop associated EBS documentation including but not limited to requirements, design, code testing and end user documents, etc. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, and the candidate must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing offshore teams is a must. Experience working on helpdesk support services in an ITSM environment. Oracle Data warehouse and DataMart development using Oracle PL/SQL and Unix. --Developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, Functions, Cursors. Releasing/packaging code into production. Full understanding of SDLC life cycle. Ability to analyze, problem solve and summarize functional subjects Self-sufficient and pro-active in sourcing information Ability to work independently and excellent troubleshooting skills.
