Plan, construct and execute manual and automated tests to verify compliance with accessibility guidelines and standards. Utilize automated accessibility testing tools, manual testing methodologies (keyboard, screen reader, etc.) and assistive technologies. Ensure all testing results are documented clearly. Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up to date. Required Skills Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion Deep understanding of the current version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Revised Section 508 Standards Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) Experience using accessibility evaluation tools and frameworks (WAVE, Developer Tools, Accessibility Inspector, etc.) Strong leadership skills in similar accessibility engagements Understanding of accessibility application audit and reporting Proficient with assistive technologies (JAWS, VoiceOver, Dragon Naturally Speaking, ZoomText), color contrast analyzer, and automated accessibility testing tools Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Rally and HP Quality Center) Background in design and execution of test criteria from requirements Experience analyzing bug severity and with bug tracking systems and bug reporting.
