Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, source systems, and data dependencies. Design and implement data zones for raw source data import, curated zones, and common data models within the Azure Data Lake environment. Ensure data zones adhere to industry best practices for optimal performance and ease of maintenance. Define and implement segment databases to organize and structure data for various business segments. Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure proper indexing, partitioning, and optimization of segment databases. Address the necessity for a Customer 360 view by architecting solutions that integrate customer data from various sources to provide a unified view. Develop and implement strategies for data quality, data lineage, and data governance to support the Customer 360 initiative. Establish and enforce data architecture standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and recommend their application to enhance the organization's data capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Create comprehensive documentation for data architecture designs, guidelines, and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Data Architect with a focus on Azure Data Lake migration and management. Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services related to data storage, processing, and analytics. Familiarity with common data modeling practices and tools. Experience with Customer 360 initiatives and integrating diverse data sources. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data architecture. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Azure certifications related to data and analytics. Experience with tools such as Talend for data integration. Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements.
