Position: 100% Remote Senior Business Analyst (Data Analytics) Location: 100% Remote Duration : 3 + Months Job Description: Summary : The Senior Business Analyst will provide support for IT projects involving Data Analytics The Senior Business Analyst should have a strong background in Agile/Scrum Project Management, storytelling, prototyping, and Sprint deployments 5+ years of Business Analyst experience involving large-scale data platform implementation with Hyperscalers in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) 5+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting user requirements 5+ years of experience using MS Excel for exploring and analyzing data Experience with using MS ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), including building boards, writing requirements, and grooming the Sprint backlog is preferred Experience with using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) for business processes is preferred Experience with MS Power BI for reporting is preferred Responsibilities : Support the Development team in writing epics, themes, and user stories for building modern reports and dashboards using latest technologies, such as Power BI, Thoughtspot, and Tableau Experience with using MS ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), including building boards, writing requirements, and grooming the Sprint backlog Proven experience in gathering and understanding business requirements (finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, etc.) and translating into technical (data analytics) requirements Must be able to partner with Lead Analysts/Developers and Architects to effectively document requirements, including business and data rules Work with Analysts and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment Experience with using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) for business processes and Power BI to streamline reporting Analyze business processes and gaps in capabilities as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces, and process changes required to address capability gaps Use an understanding of Agile Scrum framework to define cross-functional requirements for data product or data platform development Create presentations for use in meetings, including planning, requirements, and architecture review with support from other team members Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff Qualifications : 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of Business Analyst experience involving large-scale data platform implementation with Hyperscalers in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) 5+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting user requirements 5+ years of experience using MS Excel for exploring and analyzing data Experience with working on projects according to Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to understand how decisions impact timelines and budget Experience with using MS ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), including building boards, writing requirements, and grooming the Sprint backlog is preferred Experience with using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) for business processes is preferred Experience with MS Power BI for reporting is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Bachelors Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered CSM/CSPO/PMP Certifications are preferred If you are interested, please share your updated resume and suggest the best number & time to connect with you.
