Job Description - Title: Senior AEM Developer Location: HYBRID 3 Days a week onsite in Tysons, VA Duration: Contract starting at 6 months with extension potential MOI: Skype Key Responsibilities: AEM Development: Lead the development and implementation of AEM-based solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate AEM components seamlessly. System Architecture: Design and architect AEM solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and our client's IT standards. Customization and Extension: Customize AEM components, templates, and workflows to meet specific project requirements. Develop reusable AEM components and integrate with third-party systems. Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality software. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in AEM applications. Optimize the performance of AEM instances to ensure optimal user experience. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, content authors, and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business objectives. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AEM solutions, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment processes. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers. Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in AEM development and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Senior AEM Developer, with a minimum of 5 years working with Adobe Experience Manager Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) Google Analytics experience, particularly with GA4. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC or "marketing cloud") Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Communication needs to be very strong! Experience with Solr (Apache Solr, Solr, or Solr Cloud) or SearchStax would be a benefit Adobe certification in AEM. Experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics.
