Experience with the SQL BI stack, including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS. Proficient in utilizing source controls such as GitHub/Bitbucket. Familiarity with scripting/programming languages, particularly Power and Python. High-level expertise in Windows Server and WSFC, including the ability to manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) and troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues. Ability to comprehend a query plan, discerning relevant aspects and tuning for performance without solely resorting to adding additional indexes. Capable of evaluating and recommending database technologies, tools, and platforms to meet the organization's data requirements. Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in database migration from on-premises SQL Server to cloud-based solutions, will be preferred.
