IT Delivery Manager I BCBSM Job Location: Detroit, Michigan (Local preferred as will be required onsite on need basis) Visa: USC, GC & GC-EAD only Contract: 12/31/24 C2C Engagement Description Plan, develop and implement project efforts that utilize information technology solutions Develop, establish, and maintain project management standards and procedures. Develop the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals, and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Manage one or more large-sized, highly complex enterprise-wide projects. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience: Ability to manage project execution and IT delivery of healthcare payer projects. Ability to manage multiple work streams of IT project delivery, including financial management. Analytical skills to analyze, prioritize, and consolidate project risks across the entire program. Required Skills/Experience: In-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. Proven skills in managing within a matrix organization. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate vision, mission, and goals. Sound understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives. Preferred Skills/Experience: Seven (7) years of Information Technology experience. Four (4) years experience managing projects in multiple technologies and functions. Prior Program Management experience in managing contact center IT projects. Prior experience in working with multiple vendor partners to implement integrated IT solutions. Prior experience in providing project status updates to leadership and business executives. Education/Certifications: Bachelors degree in a related field required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management: Apply advanced knowledge of project and program management concepts to complete highly complex assignments. Review and consolidate project plans, manage effects on related sub-projects, and prioritize high-priority projects/programs. Ensure that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets, and expectations. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with business owners, program sponsors, vendors, and key clients. Communicate effectively with leadership and business executives about the program portfolio, status, and resource planning. Assess the effectiveness of interactions and communication with the client team. Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and prioritize project risks across the entire program, assessing their potential impact. Develop and maintain risk plans, processes, and systems to mitigate risks. Proactively escalate issues to project and departmental leadership to mitigate risk. Resource Management: Identify, coordinate, and select internal and external resources to achieve program objectives. Collaborate with other leaders to align resources across projects/programs and negotiate changes in project resources when necessary. Cost Management: Utilize various tools and techniques to estimate costs associated with projects/programs. Integrate cost baselines from multiple projects into the overall program budget. Monitor actual costs versus the budget and conduct root cause analysis of budget changes. Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members and other Delivery Leads. Establish measurable individual and team objectives aligned with business and organizational goals. Document and present performance assessments.
