We are currently looking for Technical Business Analyst. Position : Technical Business Analyst Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long term Job Summary: We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to develop cross-functional partnerships with our global business and technology teams. The company is searching for a versatile analyst to drive efficiencies in projects and inter-department collaborative efforts. We expect the analyst to work closely with the technical and business product teams to assist in developing the organizations initiatives. Job Duties: As a key contributor to the team, the candidate is expected to: Determine technology and business deliverables. Technical business analysts work closely with Product teams, Project Managers as well as Technology Leads to identify ways to support business initiatives and solutions. After identifying these initiatives, they organize technology and business deliverables for software and operational solutions. Write technical specification documents. Technical business analysts are required to gather relevant information about the business initiatives/projects as well as write technical specification documents to support development teams. A Technical business analyst will also be required to create artifacts such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) in support of business functions. Determine the functionality of software or systems. Technical business analysts will be the advocate for development teams through understanding ODHs current platform capabilities and being aware of future development efforts to determine functional changes required to support new business initiatives and projects. Additionally, they promote solutions and capabilities of the ODH Data Platforms. Interview end users and product managers. Technical business analysts must be comfortable in conducting interviews and discussions with end users, senior management, and other stakeholders to understand the business challenges and needs. They will be required to analyze the areas and collaborate with technology leads such as Architecture, Security and Technology Enablement to recommend potential solutions to the challenges. Skills and requirements: Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration with relevant experience in technology Minimum 2-3 years experience in a technical business analyst role Strong Project Management and communication skills Strong data-gathering and analysis skills Strong technical understanding of business processes and technical documentation Understanding of programming languages.
