Kindly have a glance at the job description Senior Director - Data and Analytics Practice Logistics & Transportation Work Timings: USA EST Location: USA Experience : 15+ years Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Collaborate with business to define a data and analytics strategy and artificial intelligence, and build a roadmap tailored to our clients business i.e.: railroad transportation specifically in areas including Customer and Employee Experience, Revenue and financial Optimizations, Manage transportation and Ops, Modernization of Fleet and Facilities, Safety & Security. Provide thought leadership for data & analytics solutions in the railroad transportation & logistics sector to improve and transform engagements, operations, and experiences across all functions and business processes Client Engagement: Partner with CDO, CIO, and their direct reports Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and customers in the travel, railroad transportation sector. Understanding of the business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives. Team Leadership: Hire and lead a team of Solution Architects, Product managers, consultants in data management, analytics, and technology. Overall ownership and governance to ensure successful execution of projects Project Delivery: Define enterprise-wide large-scale D&A transformation initiatives by conducting workshops/ assessments to understand the current state through technical leadership, delivery, and deployment. Oversee end-to-end delivery of projects on time and within budget. utilize industry best practices and methodologies to accelerate delivery and drive reuse of technologies, solutions, models, and components across the enterprise Technology Advisory: Provide expert guidance on selecting and implementing Data and analytics technology solutions from various products and platforms like Alteryx, ADF, AWS, Cloudera, DataBricks, Oracle, PowerBI, Snowflake, SAC, Tableau Build a robust D&A strategy that includes Data Governance, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Advanced Analytics and AI, Data Exploration and Visualization Frame and execute large-scale global transformation initiatives, from current state assessments through technical leadership, delivery, and deployment. Change Management: Support organizational change related to data and analytics adoption. Facilitate training and foster a data-driven culture. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on data & analytics trends in railroad transportation and logistics industry Qualifications: Masters degree in Data science, Analytics, or Business. Proven consulting experience in the railroad transportation sector. In-depth knowledge of data management, analytics, and relevant technology solutions. Experience in helping organization adopt data and analytics strategy enabled by AI Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build collaborative partnerships.
