Complete Description: The position is pivotal in supporting and enhancing 26 VB/.NET applications, focusing on migrating applications from older versions, platform maintenance, and supporting ongoing development efforts. The role primarily involves leading development initiatives, providing architectural and technical guidance, defining platform standards, and mentoring junior developers. The candidate will be a lead developer for Windows/VB/.NET platform, overseeing design, coding, and application architecture for complex systems. Responsibilities: Oversee and support 26 VB/.NET applications, including migration, maintenance, and development efforts. Lead and mentor lower-level VB/.NET developers, offering guidance and technical expertise. Define platform processes and standards for the Windows/VB/.NET environment. Architect and code applications for both small and large complex systems. Integrate diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies. Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide production support and collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical architects. Required Skills: 10+ years of hands-on experience in VB/.NET development. Ability to mentor and lead lower-level VB/.NET developers. Proficiency in creating architectural and technical designs for complex systems. Demonstrated expertise in integrating diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies. Proven track record of presenting complex technical concepts to business and non-technical users. Experience in providing production support and collaborating with diverse teams comprising business users, project managers, and technical architects.
