Azure Cloud Architect 100% Remote Role but only EAST COAST candidate needed who can come to Princeton NJ office as and when needed and coordinate US and UK Time zone. 6 Months Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Architect with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, architecture, and enterprise-level design. The ideal candidate will play a key role in setting up cloud foundation, architecting robust multi-cloud solutions, and providing expertise in data center (DC) architecture. Experience in multi-cloud environments and data center architecture will be considered a significant advantage. Responsibilities: Cloud Foundation Setup: Lead the design and implementation of our multi-cloud infrastructure, with a preference for Azure, ensuring best practices, security, and compliance. Create cloud infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards to optimize performance and enhance scalability. Cloud Solution Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design innovative multi-cloud solutions, with a preference for Azure, that meet business objectives. Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies and services to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs. Enterprise Architecture: Act as an enterprise architect, defining the overall technical architecture roadmap for our organization. Align multi-cloud strategies with the business objectives and ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing systems. Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of multi-cloud infrastructure and applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations to enhance reliability and scalability. Multi-Cloud Expertise: Leverage experience in multi-cloud environments, with a preference for Azure, to design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, ensuring redundancy, disaster recovery, and high availability across different cloud providers. Data Center (DC) Experience: Utilize data center architecture experience to engage in discussions related to on-premises infrastructure, hybrid cloud setups, and assist in DC architecture planning and design. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost-effective solutions, and provide cost estimates for multi-cloud initiatives. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest multi-cloud and Azure services, industry trends, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Multi-Cloud Architect, with a strong focus on multi-cloud infrastructure and solutions design, with a preference for Azure AND GCP as well Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services. Hands-on experience with multi-cloud migration, deployment, and management of scalable applications. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to multi-cloud security and compliance. Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and storage solutions in multi-cloud environments. Experience in data center architecture and integration of on-premises infrastructure with multi-cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional) are MUST Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
