Your role encompasses overseeing the maintenance and modernization of existing systems, as well as the development of new applications and systems. Collaborating in a dynamic environment with business users, management, architects, and staff engineers, you will provide valuable input into requirements and alternative courses of action. Responsibilities: Lead teams through the complete application lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery based on detailed requirements. Recommend conceptual designs and architecture for multiple complex projects, delivering on time and within budget. Troubleshoot and optimize performance, conducting problem analysis. Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into technical specifications, facilitating working sessions. Drive user acceptance testing and quality assurance, ensuring thorough testing of deliverables. Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, goals, and deploy plans. Participate in Design and Deploy Tollgate reviews, gaining buy-in from cross-functional teams. Document systems, software architecture, and processes comprehensively. Provide constructive input to department management regarding team members and assist in their performance and development planning. Conduct technical interviews for new hires. Undertake other projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent years of software development experience. 10+ years of experience in appropriate programming languages (Java, RPG, etc.). Full stack development expertise with technologies like React, Angular, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Spring framework, Spring-MVC, myBatis, and RESTful APIs. 2-4 years of Agile team experience. 1-2 years of project leadership experience with diverse teams. Expert knowledge of the full system development lifecycle. Proficiency in design frameworks, patterns, and their implementation in software development. Ability to take ownership of multiple applications. Effective communication with business and IT leaders. Design and recommendation of architectural frameworks and database designs. Accurate estimation and leadership of medium to large projects. Training end user groups on solution usage. Strong ability to develop systems meeting architectural objectives with reusable, scalable code. Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
