Performance Test Engineer

Hybrid in McLean, VA

12+Month Contract

Responsibilities:
Lead performance testing initiatives within Agile projects.
Develop and implement test scripts using LoadRunner/Performance Center and JMeter.
Utilize monitoring and analysis skills with Dynatrace for comprehensive performance insights.
Conduct in-sprint performance testing within Agile methodology.
Collaborate on projects involving CI/CD (DevOps) and Cloud technologies.
Script and test AMQ messaging applications for optimal performance.
Test SOA Web Services and Restful services to ensure robust functionality.
Apply expertise in JSON, regular expressions, and Java/J2EE for effective testing.
Employ service virtualization techniques using Smart Stub.
Perform log analysis using Splunk/Dynatrace for production insight.
Leverage experience with Kubernetes and AWS for enhanced testing capabilities.

Requirements:
10 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
Proficiency in scripting with LoadRunner and JMeter.
Strong skills in Dynatrace and other monitoring tools.
Familiarity with Kibana dashboard creation for effective reporting.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of Cloud technologies, RedHat OpenShift, and ELK.
Scripting and testing proficiency in AMQ messaging applications.
Strong background in Java/J2EE and SQL query manipulation.
Familiarity with service virtualization and log analysis using Splunk/Dynatrace.
Additional experience with Kubernetes and AWS is advantageous.
