Position: VDI Engineer (Hybrid) Location: Bentonville, AR, (2 Days/week onsite) Duration: 6 + Months VISA- No H1B Job Description: Must Haves: Experience with VMWare and Horizon Cloud Experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Experience with Citrix VCAP Certification (VMware Certified Advanced Professional) Experience working in a Healthcare environment Plusses: Experience with Terraform Experience with Kubernetes Experience with Power CLI Experience with Power Day-to-Day: The Windows Engineering VDI team is responsible for providing on-prem and cloud hosted virtual PCs for 30k associates and vendors. This team is growing as demand increases for cloud-based solutions and services. They are looking for talented candidates who have knowledge, skills, and abilities in on-prem infrastructure management, Horizon (HCS)v2, Azure Cloud IaaS management, and multiple environment hypervisor administration. This position partners closely with our Healthcare associates and global tech teams to ensure stability, security, performance, and productivity for our virtual Windows endpoints. In this role, you can expect to: Design, implement, and maintain on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Manage the CI/CD pipeline to ensure smooth and timely delivery of software releases. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to identify and resolve issues. Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Develop and implement security controls and processes to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
