DESCRIPTION: Deposits Application is a key component of the SunTrust Banking System. Deposits Portfolio consists of three major applications, Deposits, Time Deposits & Summary Statements along with other 10 minor applications. Deposits is mostly a Batch application that processes Retail and Commercial Checking, Savings, and Money Market accounts in a single system. It posts current day s activity, generates charges, pays interest, provides reports and statements. Deposits process approximately 5.3 million accounts daily. TRS (Transaction Routing System) gets the data from all systems and passes them to the DDA application. The DDA application processes the data among seven processing lines. Processing lines are - one Commercial processing line and two Retail Lines for each statement processing sites for Atlanta, Orlando, and Richmond. Summary Statements is the application which receives transactions history, on monthly process, from various applications and generate the statements and send to the customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

DESCRIPTION: In coordination with ESSO, the U.S. Forces will eliminate and replace the use of POL (petroleum, oil and lubricants coupons for both privately operated vehicles and official Government vehicles. Official vehicles will have different colored cards. The electronic card-based system will only replace existing privileges currently in place. The procedures below describe the electronic card-based system.

In place of coupons, the U.S. Forces will establish a card-based system. The card-based system would interface by means of an Electronic Ration Control System (ERCS) between AAFES and UVR. AAFES will maintain the ERCS and will obtain approved rationed motor vehicle fuel data from the UVR.
